Therapy sessions are billed monthly at the start of the month. Weekly payment plans can be arranged. Evaluation sessions require a deposit paid in advance, to secure the appointment time. The non-refundable deposit can be applied to the evaluation fee.
Initial consultations are free.
Fees for evaluations and therapy services differ for a client who will pay out of pocket and a client who will request reimbursement from their insurance for out of network services.
For clients who do not submit to insurance for reimbursement and who pay on or before day of service, they will be given a prompt pay discount. Insurance rates differ due to the extra time in detailed documentation required by insurance companies.
After you complete your initial consultation and all intake paperwork, including a deposit, AnetSpeech can conduct a courtesy check of your insurance plan's out of network reimbursement. You can know up front what your full out-of-pocket cost may be, whether you are prompt/private pay or are seeking insurance reimbursement.
Don't be put off by the words 'private pay'. Instead, find out for sure what your insurance covers. Complete your consultation and intake paperwork so we can start with verifying your coverage benefits.
It's often worth paying outside the network for a therapist. In many cases, even a whole year of speech services will be less than your yearly deductible. Additionally, private pay at AnetSpeech isn't bound by the same limits on numbers of sessions that insurances often dictate.
No Surprises Act
Beginning January 1, 2022, if you obtain health care via private pay, health care providers like me must provide you with an estimate of the expected charges before you get an item or service. This is called a Good Faith Estimate (GFE) and is part of legislation called the No Surprises Act.
Private pay clients will be told at your initial consultation the expected fees for your child's evaluation and therapy. Exact number of therapy sessions per week will depend on the evaluation results.
